What you will experience on this trip

  • Get fascinated by the splendor of the ‘star dunes’ in the Namib Desert, and experience the light/shadow show both at sunset and sunrise.
  • Take thousands of pictures in the otherworldly Deadvlei, a frozen forest in time with its dead camel thorn trees, and chalky white base surrounded by soaring red dunes.
  • Camping in the desert under the starry night.
  • Get to know real Africa on a visit to Penduka, a social training center for underprivileged women in Namibia.
  • Visit Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO site with one of the largest ancient rock engraving collections in Africa
  • Meet Himba and Damara tribes and learn about their traditions
  • Scramble among the stunning rock formations in Spitzkoppe, a hiker’s paradise
  • Kayaking with seals at Pelican Point in Walvis Bay, and a chance to spot other wildlife such as dolphins, whales, and a variety of birdlife.
